A birthday for two

We had a dual celebration at Gloria's Restaurant for Evan and Claire's birthdays. Claire turned 10 on Monday and Evan turns 33 next Wednesday. It's hard to get us all together because of the guy's work schedules but we managed to do it and had a great time.

Nice face Scott. He's laughing because we had the wait staff serenade the birthday boy and girl. Evan was a little surprised.

Apparently, you don't get birthday cake at Gloria's...you get birthday flan! Can we say "yummy?"

I always save the best picture for last. Scott went to get the vehicle and proceeded to pull out a step latter from his FJ. We're all like, "What the heck is he doing?" His mom, Sara, can't get up into Scott's lifted truck so he has to carry a step stool with him. I almost peed my pants laughing. She was gracious enough to let me take this photo. Thanks Granny Sara!
